About Kodwo Ewusi, Founder of FIBI Law


In 2006, Mr. Ewusi started practicing immigration law representing numerous pharmaceutical companies, IT companies, and individuals before federal agencies, immigration courts, and appellate courts.. Through his practice, he represented immigrants throughout the United States and over fifty countries. He currently practices in all areas of immigration law, including employment based immigration, family based immigration, asylum, deportation defense, criminal deportation defense, H1B visa applications, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival, and many others.

Mr. Ewusi also practices in state specific areas such as, personal injury law, divorce law, criminal law, contract law among other areas.

Attorney Igwe is a member of the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Trial Lawyer Association. He is also licensed to appear before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.


Dorcas Twum, LLB holds a Bachelor of Laws from Plymouth University, UK. She is a member of The Honourable Society of Inner Temple, UK and enrolled on the Bar Professional Training Course at Northumbria University.

Dorcas Twum, LLB had a rewarding practice as a Gateway Assessor with Citizen Advice Bureau in UK, an associate with KAA LAW Legal Practitioners, Ghana and volunteered at British Red- Cross Society.
Dorcas has a diverse experience in Insurance and compensation claims, Legal drafting and research.


Attorney Hiwot Berihun is a member of the Maryland Bar Association and American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Ms. Berihun is admitted to appear before all state courts in Maryland.

Raised in Northern Virginia, Ms. Berihun attended University of Virginia where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economic and Anthropology. After working for
Booz Allen Hamilton as an IT Project Manager for five years, she received Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law. Ms. Berihun practices immigration law serving individuals and businesses. Her practice focuses on E-1 and E-2 visas.
